Vids

Here we will be publishing videos of recent developments in Marina del Rey.

Fireballs seen recently.

Although there have been no confirmed reports from credible news sources, astronomy organizations (like the American Meteor Society), or widespread social media discussions about unusual “fireballs” specifically sighted in Marina del Rey, California, as of November 20, 2025.

However, November is peak season for the Taurid meteor shower (both Southern and Northern branches), which is well-known for producing bright, slow-moving fireballs — large, exploding meteors that can light up the sky dramatically. The Taurids have been active throughout the month, with heightened fireball activity noted in some years when Earth passes through denser debris from Comet Encke. The Leonid meteor shower is also ongoing (peaking around November 16–17), but it’s less fireball-prone this time. Southern California, including coastal areas like Marina del Rey, Venice Beach, and nearby spots, often gets good views of these events on clear nights due to relatively dark skies away from downtown LA light pollution.
